1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the AiLancerX website and browser extension (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
User Eligibility Requirements
To access or use AiLancerX, you must satisfy the following conditions:
- Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age.
- Account Standing: You have not previously been suspended or removed from the Service.
- Legal Compliance: Your registration and use of the Service is in compliance with all applicable global and local laws and regulations.
3. Accounts & Registration
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
Accuracy of Information
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account.
4. Payments & Subscriptions
Global Payment Processing
All global payments are handled securely via Stripe. We support major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. For users in Bangladesh, we additionally support bKash with manual verification (typically 6-12 hours).
Credits & Fair Usage
Credits are consumed for AI operations. We monitor for abusive patterns to ensure fair access for all users globally. Credits are non-transferable between accounts.
5. Cancellation & Refunds
Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
- Unused subscription credits do not roll over to the next month.
- Refunds are not provided for partially used billing periods.
- Once AI credits have been consumed, the transaction is final and non-refundable.
- The 25 free credits provided on signup serve as a trial period to evaluate the service before purchase.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use AiLancerX to:
Post spam, misleading information, or fraudulent job proposals.
Attempt to bypass security features or scrape public data.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of AiLancerX and its licensors. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of AiLancerX.
User Content
You retain all of your ownership rights in your User Content. However, by posting or publishing User Content, you grant AiLancerX a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid right and license to use, store, and display your User Content for the purpose of providing the service.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.
If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or contact our support team.
9. Disclaimers
Disclaimer of Warranty
The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. AiLancerX makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of their services, or the information, content or materials included therein. You expressly agree that your use of these services, their content, and any services or items obtained from us is at your sole risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
Liability Limitation
In no event shall AiLancerX, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation:
- Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
- (i) Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
- (ii) Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
- (iii) Any content obtained from the Service.
- (iv) Unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.
11. Global Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us directly to seek a resolution. If we are unable to resolve the dispute informally:
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the LCIA Rules. The seat of arbitration shall be London, England. The language of the arbitration shall be English.
12. Force Majeure
AiLancerX shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, riot, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, service outages resulting from equipment and/or software failure and/or telecommunications failures, or server downtime.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim.
14. Credits & Pricing Model
Usage-Based Credit System
AiLancerX operates on a professional usage-based credit system. Credits are the internal currency used to access AI-powered features.
- Per-Dollar Updates: Your credit balance is typically updated based on a per-dollar conversion rate (e.g., $1.00 USD = X AI Credits). This ensures transparency and precise billing for your usage.
- Pricing Model Flexibility: To ensure long-term sustainability and feature quality, we reserve the right to modify our pricing structure. This includes, but is not limited to, transitioning from a credit-based system to a Pay-As-You-Go model, or implementing other pricing mechanisms as the platform evolves.
