1. Services Provided
AiLancerX provides a suite of AI-powered tools designed for freelancers and agencies. These tools include, but are not limited to, proposal generation, job fit analysis, profile syncing, and message drafting. The Services are accessible via our web application and browser extension.
Third-Party Affiliation: AiLancerX is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Upwork Global Inc. or any other third-party platform. Use of the Services in conjunction with those platforms is solely at your discretion and risk.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
3. Data Interaction & AI Processing
To provide our Services, AiLancerX interacts with data from third-party platforms only at your explicit direction via our Browser Extension.
When you activate analysis features (e.g., “Analyze Job”, “Draft Reply”, “Sync Profile”), the following user-visible content may be sent to our AI processing pipeline:
- Job descriptions & client information
- Chat messages visible in the conversation thread
- Public profile info (bio, skills, work history)
Data is processed solely for generating the output you requested. AiLancerX does not use your data to train AI models.
Suggestions Only: All AI-generated content (proposals, replies, analyses) is provided as a suggestion and does not constitute professional advice.
You are solely responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to use any AI output before submitting it. AiLancerX is not liable for lost opportunities, account actions on third-party platforms, or inaccuracies in AI-generated content.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Services to:
Third-Party Platform Compliance
You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of AiLancerX complies with the terms of service, community guidelines, and policies of any third-party platform you access alongside our Services (including, without limitation, Upwork). AiLancerX does not guarantee that any particular use of the extension is compliant with third-party platform policies, and we expressly disclaim any such warranty.
No Automation
The AiLancerX browser extension does not automatically submit proposals, send messages, or perform any actions on third-party platforms without your explicit, manual interaction. All platform actions must be initiated and confirmed by you.
5. Subscriptions & Credits
Certain features require paid subscriptions or "credits".
Billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis.
Refunds
Handled on a case-by-case basis. Consumed credits are generally non-refundable.
Changes
Pricing or credit usage rates may change with 14 days notice.
6. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.
7. Limitation of Liability
Important Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AiLancerX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service;
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the service; or
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
